A wonderful Illinois town. The downtown merchant district still thrives and nearby stands the beautiful Jersey County Courthouse. Visitors enjoy overnight stays at Homeridge Bed & Breadkfast, a Civil-War era mansion resplendent with antique furnishings. At the Fulkerson mansion, there are 19th Century exhibits and, during Labor Day Weekend, a phenomenal Victorian Fair. The Jersey county Historical Society's museum is popular with visitors as well.
